Thread: tps sensor

Ive searched and searched to no avail. I did a swap in my 98 b14 w/manual tran a couple months ago. Everything went smoothly except for the tps sensor. The motor i put in was a w10 avenir det, so i switched over all the usdm sensors. When i went to move the tps sensor over noticed mine was a two plug and didnt fit correctly on the avenir throttle body. With a little modification(hack job) to the sensor i got the usdm sensor to fit. It didnt take long for the check engine to go on for a tps malfunction. My question is what style of tps would fit the avenir tb, and also be dual plug. Or do i need to move over the b14s throttle body. I called jgy and jim wolf couldnt get any help. I just need to get this one problem sorted out to enjoy my boosted ride. Any help would be awesome. Thanks guys.

LOL @ callling JGY for help unless you offered to give them money. I was just going to suggest to call JWT to see if they have a throttle body with the appropriate sensor but I guess not.
