Thread: New to the forum i got a 97 200sx

I'm new to the forum. I'm from sacramento, CA and I'm 18.\ i just got me a b14 last week for 900 dollars. its pretty messed up but me and my dad are gonna be fixing it up little by little. First thing we did was put a new clutch in. ill keep posting up pics once in a while on the progress of it.

Welcome to the Nissan world. Now I'm not sure if you're aware of the differences between an SE-R and SE but it is tremendous.. if this is a car you just want for transportation thats totally cool, but if you plan on modding it and want to go fast, you should probably reconsider and get the SE-R version

In all honesty theres really not that much different between the 2 besides the motor and trans, which can be adressed fairly easily. The only other downside I can think of from the se is rear drums, and no sideskirts.

Welcome!that little ga16de is a peppy little motor.great mpgs.but if your planing on making this a project car.best start with a swap!
