Regrounding couple items should help with the car responsivenesses and MPG's. I made my own reground kit from 8 gauge wire.
Wire and terminals:
Current Wiremap:
1. Driver Headlight Ground
2. Battery Negative Terminal Ground
3. Cylinder Head
4. Driver Side Strut Tower Ground
5. Alternator
6. Passenger Headlight Ground and Alternator ground
7. Passenger Strut tower Ground
8. Intake Manifold Ground
Broken down in sections:
Battery Location
Headlight Ground to the negative battery terminal ground.
From the negative battery ground to the cylinder head.
From Cylinder head to the Intake Manifold
From Strut Area to Intake Manifold - I used to have it on the strut screws, but the screw doesn't have much space to hold on to, because of the FSB.
Intake Manifold, here you have the ECU ground, my MAF ground, Cylinder head wire ground, and strut area ground.
To the left of the plastic engine coolant bottle holder was an 8 gauge ground wire. When I tried to unscrew it, it broke off. It turned out to be very rusted and dirty so I cleaned it up. After a bit of looking around, this looks like the alternator ground. I will need to do something on the alternator, the bolt looks a bit rusted.
Headlight ground, alternator and ground wire to the strut tower.
Wire Incoming from the alternator ground. I will daisy chain it to the Intake Manifold as soon as I find a better ground location then the strut tower. Once again I cannot put another cable on the strut tower due to the lack of length on the strut tower bolts.
